Wow! Aunt Dee definitely left her mark on me and my sibs. One thing I remember right off the bat when our family moved into the neighborhood she made it very clear she did not go any "Mr & Mrs" business to all of kids it was Aunt Dee & Uncle Joe! I spent hours on that tireswing in the pines. I remember her whistle to let her kids know to come home for one reason or during the day. It was soloud and vivid one of our parakeets learned it and more than once Billy went home to our birds whistle and not hers! She was always a fun person as well as caring compassionate rock, too. She helped me personally through a tough time I wouldn't have managed otherwise. Nothing but the deepest respect and fondest memories where Aunt Dee is concerned. I hadn't seen her often in recent years and I know I speak for myself and brothers and sisters saying I sure wish that is something I could reverse! Love and miss you Aunt Dee you were as much Aunt to me as any blood Aunt has ever been. Donna Wuori

“ Aunt Dee “ as she was fondly know to so many , put kindness and Love into everything she did. She was humble but very wise and had a unique way of always leaving a warm impression with every encounter , I have not seen her in 16-20 yrs but she and Her Family are in my thoughts every single day and always will be . The influence she had on my childhood Is present in many of my daily choices and actions , the same is true of all of my siblings , who often speak of her and the “Family Nextdoor “ with Love and Respect And of coarse recollections of great memories. She used the attraction of a tire swing to attract neighborhood kids to her yard , where she briefly spoke with everyone often with influence , guidance , life lessons, and sometimes about Faith and God, who she served every single day of her life ! She put every kid In charge and made them the boss of the pines ( where the swing was and where neighborhood business was conducted ) and made everyone feel important and special , she did this so we would respect and protect her yard and take pride in that role . She was so wise in these ways and her approach Towards mothering everybody around her , she was a rare and Great one in a million human being, she raised all of her children to be the same , and taught them to carry on her vine and share her values and Faith . The world miss her seeing her smile and being looked upon by her kind eyes, but we will always have her influence , Legacy, and warm memory . May God Bless the Gats and Ouellette Family , and her communities during this painful time , and everyday forward , Regards of John Brochu and all my Brothers and Sister from Baldwin Hill

Dee and Joe were close friends of ours for years. We had so much fun together. Dee was always the life of the party. Jack and I went to see her before we came back to Florida and she was as happy and joyful as she always was. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Our prayers and thoughts are with the whole family during this difficult time. You will be on my mind since we can't be there.
