Obituary for Francis A. Tobio

Francis A.  Tobio
Litchfield – Francis A. Tobio, 87, a resident of Litchfield, passed away on Friday, November 2nd, at his home with Susan by his side. He was born January 19, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Bartholomew Tobio and Fenezia (Egizio) Tobio. Francis attended school in the Watertown, Massachusetts school system. He was a U.S. Army veteran proudly serving his country in the Korean War from 1952 to 1955. He worked as a meat cutter while living in Massachusetts. Then moving to Maine in 1972 and became a handy man and sold ice fishing sounders. He was a member America Legion Emerson and Lane Post #132 in Richmond, Maine. Francis enjoyed hunting and ice fishing and really enjoyed traveling to Alaska to go fishing. He is survived by Susan Buck his significant other of Litchfield, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers; Louis and James and a sister Josephine. Funeral service with full military honors will held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, November 8th at the BRAGDON ~ FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 7th at the funeral home. Interment will be at Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Plains Road, Litchfield, Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N. Beacon Street, Watertown, MA 02472-9982. Messages of condolence may be sent to:
