Ronald M.  Rice
Winthrop – Ronald Maurice Rice, 71, a resident of Greene, passed away on Saturday, July 28th. He was born on February 21, 1947, the son of Donald Rice and Mary (Seekins) Rice in Hartland, Maine. Ronald attended primary school in Hartland and then graduating from Hartland Academy. Ronald proudly served his country in the U.S.Army. He was employed for Hannaford as a warehouse dock foreman. While living in Pittsfield Ronald enjoyed being a youth sports coach for Babe Ruth and Little League, and youth basket ball and he played softball up to his fifties. He enjoyed bowling all of his life. Ronald was a selectman and a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Pittsfield. He was also a member of the Knight of Columbus, the American Legion Post #32 in Pittsfifeld and the Eagles Club of Lewiston. He is survived by a daughter, Robin Garini and husband Rich of Readfield, a son, Adam Rice and wife Linda of Jamison, PA; 5 grandchildren, and a sister, Doreen Roberts of Hartland.
