She would sit on a swing and watch her grandchildren swim in the pond during the summer and ice skate in the winter. Dolly also loved camping at Tacoma Lakes Family Campground in Litchfield, where she made many lifelong friends. A sure way to make Dolly smile after she entered the nursing home, was to bring her a lobster roll, onion pizza or ham italian. She could knit anything, from the most complicated sweaters or blankets to the most detailed Barbie doll clothes for her daughters and nieces.
