Jay – Anthony Blaine Sturtevant, 59, passed away, Saturday, June 30th in Jay, Maine. He was born September 3, 1958 in Lewiston, the son of Blaine “Bing” Sturtevant and Elaine (Poulin) Sturtevant. He was a 1977 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Through the years he worked as a welder pipefitter in construction which allowed him to travel and experience many parts of the country. Tony enjoyed playing his guitar, visiting and hanging out with friends. He enjoyed watching old movies, listening to classic rock, and sharing tales of his adventures of his youth. He loved being the “life-of-the-party”, making people laugh and smile with his unforgettable antics. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his brother, Terrence Sturtevant and companion Merline Douglas of Mount Vernon, his sister, Tracy Sturtevant and companion Chad Thompson of Livermore. Nephews include Zachary Richards and fiancé Rachel Goding, Livermore Falls, Chad Richards, Livermore Falls (currently stationed in TX (USAF), Pvt. Mackenzie Sturtevant, Fort Benning, GA. (currently deployed in Kabul Afghanistan). A niece, Kiarra Richards, Livermore Falls and Sarah Sturtevant, Fort Sumter, GA. He was predeceased by his parents, Blaine and Elaine Sturtevant.
