Monmouth-Lowell E. “Woody” Woodman, Sr., 80, of Monmouth passed away on Friday, June 30th at his home with his loving wife, Donna, by his side. He was born March 26, 1937 in Gardiner the son of Lloyd and Lyndell (Tozier) Woodman. He attended Litchfield Academy graduating in 1956. Following high school, Lowell enlisted and served proudly in the United States Navy. On Feb, 9, 1963, in Lewiston, Lowell and Donnalee Darling from Sabattus were married. He was a maintenance mechanic at Tambrands in Auburn, retiring in 1999. Lowell enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with wood; he also loved his family very much. He was a member of Monmouth Masonic Lodge No. 110 A.F. & A.M. for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife Donnalee, of Monmouth; his children and their spouses, Gail and Patrick Cyr and Lowell, Jr. and Maria Woodman; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lorraine Kenney and her husband Ronald of Litchfield and Louella McDonald and her husband Lawrence of Wales. Lowell was predeceased by his parents; and a great grandson, Patrick that was 9 weeks old. Woodman-Lowell, E. “Woody” Sr., 80, a resident of Monmouth passed away on Friday, June 30th, at his home. A funeral service with full military honors will be held at 11:00 am on July 6 at BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine. Visitation hours will be at 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm, with a 6:30 pm Masonic Service, Wednesday, July 5th at the funeral home. Interment will be at Maxwell Cemetery in Wales.
